One specific job
XML Folio creates a selected-field HTML reading copy of an RSS 2.0 feed, Atom feed, sitemap or sitemap index. The practical output is a file you can inspect and host yourself, plus a manifest that makes omissions visible. It does not require a paid model, remote conversion API, account or payment.
The browser XSLT retirement creates a reason to revisit this human reading path. The underlying XML formats are not new, and this tool is not presented as the first XML-to-HTML converter. Its focus is a reviewable artifact, explicit field coverage and a clear separation between machine source and human page.
Independent identity
XML Folio is independent software. It is not an official Chrome, Google, Mozilla, W3C, RSS Advisory Board or Sitemaps.org service. The domain is used as the address of this workbench, not as a claim of continuity with an older website or organisation. No historical institution’s staff, services or authority is represented here.
Sources and responsibility
The migration notes link to primary browser and format documentation. Dates are labeled with a review date because browser release plans can change. The tests page distinguishes observed behavior from broader compatibility claims. The field profile documents what this implementation reads, omits and refuses.
A successful export is not a complete transform migration. The owner of the source must decide whether the selected fields are enough, whether the content can be published, and how to keep the snapshot current. We do not claim search rankings, traffic or a measured commercial outcome from conversion.
Related products
